Qué tristeza me da… Realmente es una gran pérdida. El único comentario que me sacó una sonrisa fue el man que sugirió que el viejo Joe sacara a Amy Winehouse a bailar salsa… Al menos ninguno de los dos sufre ya de nada.

Sad face. 😦

Have YOU ever seen a llama kiss a llama on the llama?

Please don’t curse me when you can’t get this song out of your head, and please don’t throw yourself off the balcony when the bizarre imagery from the video invades your sweet slumber.

Be forewarned: I can’t seem to make the video stop once it starts. Enjoy!

O sea, Rodolfo Burgos. Oye, de verdad canta idéntico, ¡es increíble!

To my grand delight, I saw a video of the REAL Shakira meeting Rodolfo/”Shakiro” – and two things struck me.

1. Shakira seems so normal and nice!

2. Wait, Shakira’s only like 5 feet tall, that guy looks teeny next to her!

Or, for the English-only crowd, “I’ll erase you (unfriend you) from Facebook.”

Me parto de la risaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Silent Monks Sing Hallelujah

December 23, 2010

Been MIA around here these days – but don’t fret. All is well, just super-busy! This video cracked me up, and in the spirit of the season, I share it here. Enjoy!

These two grannies are super cute, and I especially love how they giggle like little kids. Makes me grin and miss my own grandma, she would have gotten a kick out of this.

T-Mobile Welcome Back

November 10, 2010

This has been flying all over the interwebz for days, but it makes me grin each and every time. And the sheer celebratory energy in all those harmonized voices makes me tear up, too. Well, only a little.

Bonus: Reactions from the public. I want to be an International Flight-Greeter! Think they are hiring at Sea-Tac?

Very neat! Boys in South Korea cheering for their high school soccer team. They do this with their clothes, not by holding up cards: they have a jacket that is one color on the back, one on the front, and that they can open or close to show a third color shirt on the inside.

And I guess this is the original:

Not sure this is exactly the performance that Bizet had in mind, but it’s awfully cute!

Um, right.

Tee-hee! I loved this!

The world is, at times, truly unknowable – definitely a place that falls outside my capacity for understanding. Grab your eye bleach and have a look at this guy. If you think having an ass on the front of your chest makes you feel a little sick, wait until you see JUST HOW MUCH this guy is enjoying said ass on the front of his chest. Then consider this: Someone is recording the video. That’s right, a real person in the same room with this guy and his pec-jumping antics. Ewww.

Do the Meer-kute!

I can’t wait to go see these guys once F returns! ¡Ojo! Earworm alert – the song is totally catchy!

WOW! Sir Mix-a-Lot. Buffy. Erik Estrada (He has Evo’s hair, woot!). The HULK!!! And a catchy parody tune. I feel suddenly blessed to have enjoyed pop culture of the 70s and 80s. Woo!

Why I can’t belong to these guys instead of my actual family? I wish we had Wimpy’s in Seattle-I would eat there all the time just based on this ad. I especially love the girlie with the glasses!

Sure, the original is an incredible feat of cinematography, and sure the Sesame Street one made me giggle. But this version is way awesome! Check it out below:

Thanks to my dear F for this one!

I haven’t stopped laughing about this yet, and I’m sort of happy to have the song stuck in my head. Excellent work! The Mexican imagery during the chorus is fabulous-especially the lucha libre masks.

Oh hai!

And now, on to the good stuff…
