Live hummingbird nest camera!

This is really super cool – I’m not sure where I found it, but I’m so glad I did! This is a live webcam which is trained on someone’s rosebush in California – a mama hummer is nesting, and (hopefully) the remaining egg is about to hatch. I will stay tuned to find out!

Also, here’s a related video of hummingbird mama Phoebe defending her nest against an alligator lizard as large as she is! Whoa!
